Michael Ray Simmons Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 5, 2026, at the age of 64, Michael Ray Simmons of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Simmons and Fred Simmons; and his brother Bill Simmons. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Garner (Shannon); his granddaughter Bailey Grace Garner (Jason); his great grandchild Paisley Rae; his son Ronnie Ragsdale (Brandy); his grandsons, Cain and Calen Ragsdale; his siblings, Monica Formon (Kent), Jan Terrell, Lee Ann Clem (James) and Steve Decker Simmons (Kim); his aunt Sally Reynolds (Jimmy); his friend Richard Blair; and his niece Bethany Formon. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Westside High School in memory of Mike or to a charity of your choice.
