We are sad to announce that, on May 28, 2021, at the age of 92, Mildred Whitehurst of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Walcott, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Birlie Cletis and Gladys Emma Duffel; her brother James Duffel; and her stepchildren, Bethel Spencer, Y. D. Whitehurst and Hurshel Whitehurst.

She is survived by: her husband Harmon Whitehurst; her son Daaron Riley of Jonesboro, Arkansas; her stepdaughter Reba Peifer; and her brother Curtis Duffel of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren.
