He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey P. Griffey and Ruby May Griffey (Arnold); his wife Eunice Griffey; his son Stanley Griffey; and his siblings, Bobby, Dewey, Gene, Joann, Janette and Estylene.
He is survived by: his children, Mark (Sandra Griffey), Mary Jo Fenwick and Kathy (Harold Long); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Mark Griffey, Jessica Pruitt, Krystal Teal, Jeromy, Jessica Long, Tonya Martin, Bryan, Chris Proctor and Madison Long; and his siblings, Bryon Griffey and Juna Pickering. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
