She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Stacks and Jewelle Stacks (Strickland); her husband Joe Simpson; her son Gary Joe Simpson; and her siblings, Jim Stacks, Ben Stacks, Bill Stacks, Nesta Jean Tucker, Barbara Bryan and Debbie Reeves.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Simpson (Traci) and Melissa Parks (Chris); her grandchildren, Jennifer Luker (Joey), Brandon Poynor (Britany), Ryan Simpson (Anna), Patrick Poynor (Marissa), Jordan Simpson (Travis), Emily Fortner (Cody) and Adam Parks (Ashley); and her siblings, Ken Stacks and Donna Grisham.
