She was predeceased by: her parents, Letha Hall and Basil Hall; her husband Vic Berger; her son David Berger; and her sister Veva Greenwood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicky Simmons (Walter) of Nashville, TN and Mellie Bates (Rick) of Nolensville, TN; her grandchildren, Jami Smith (Kenny) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Katie Porter of Lebanon, TN, Sarah Tabor (Matt) of Nolensville, TN, Daniel Simmons (Jayme) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Jonathan Bates of Nolensville, TN and Philip Bates (Katie) of College Grove, TN; and her sister Nanette Barber (Bill) of Jonesboro, AR.. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery (3910 Harrisburg Rd, Jonesboro, AR 72404).
