She was predeceased by: her parents, C. H. Higgins and Jimmie Lou Higgins; her husband Raymond Stephens; and her siblings, Newton Higgins, Clarence Higgins (Earline), Clifford Higgins (Eadie), Lady Maude Higgins Shockley, Marvin Higgins (Martha), James Higgins (Billie), Minford Higgins (Betty) and Lois Faye Higgins.
She is survived by: her daughter Angie Dickson (Brian); and her granddaughter Ava Dickson of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
