She is survived by: her half-siblings, David Carter, Mary Carter, Michael Carter and Tim Carter; her daughters, Donna Slaughter and Connie Laswell; and her grandchildren, Michael Jones, Jennifer Sterley, Ben Griffin, Destiny Slaughter and Carissa Slaughter. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Patsy's name.
