He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Carl and Una Mae McKnight (Hughes); his sister Elma Faye Kautt; his brothers-in-law, Johny Kautt and Kenny Miller; and his friend Dale Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Jarrett McKnight; his daughters, Terri Lynn Tyner (Peyton) and Paula Dione Riggs (Barry); his grandchildren, Gracie Cook (Josh), Audrey Guinn (Blake), Zachary Riggs (Alison), Chloe Tyner and Madison Riggs; his great grandchild Jonah Wayne Cook; and his sister Cora Etta Miller.
