He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wheatley and Drucella Wheatley; and his siblings, Ronald, James, Earnest, Dell, Delores, Vivian, Joyce and Patricia.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Jones (Montez), Julia Washington (Michael), Chandra Wheatley and Marshall James; his siblings, Michael Wheatley (Terrie) and Marion Lee; and his grandchildren, Maurice, Jabari and Lanisha (Bryan). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Courtyard Marriott.
