He is survived by: his mother Eulala Whitaker of Jonesboro; his wife Alice Whitaker; his son Dale Whitaker of Jonesboro; his stepchildren, Mickey Mullins (Elizabeth) of Jonesboro, Leland Mullins (Jordan) of Walnut Ridge, Brenda DeTrana of California and Karen McKay of Cave City; and his brothers, Charles Whitaker (Cindy) of Jonesboro and Tommy Whitaker (Jan) of Jonesboro. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
