He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Sr. Stidman; his wife Gloria Jean Stidman (Futrell); and his siblings, Sammie Jo Johnson, BettyJean Barmer, Martha Jane Tyner, Murray Stidman, Dale Stidman and Preston Stidman.
He is survived by: his sons, Brent Stidman (Patty) of Jonesboro and Jeff Stidman (Terry) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Jared Stidman, Jonathan Stidman, Jason Stidman, Hannah Curtis (Kenny), Sarah Freer (Wade), Adam Stidman (Grace), Lance Waters and Nathan Waters (Ash). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
