He is survived by: his father Larry Childress (Marcia) of Cabot; his son Alec Childress (Rachel) of Jonesboro; his stepsiblings, Greg Lercher (Amanda) of Cabot and Ashley Gonyea (Wylie) of Cabot; and his nieces and nephews, Carter, Riley, Ellianna, Witten and Wylie Wayne.
