He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Blevins and Lois Blevins (Cooper); his son Butch Blevins; his granddaughter Cammie Blevins; and his siblings, Charlie Blevins, Imogene Davis, Barbara Smith and Linnie Whited.
He is survived by: his wife Alta Lois Murphy-Blevins; his children, Bobby Blevins, Kim Welter (Mark) and Donna Williams (Steve); his daughter-in-law Susan; and his friend Tracy Jo Hart. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
