She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nathanial Primm and Cleavie Earl Williams Primm; her husband Norman Tate; her daughter Felicia Ann Tate; and her siblings, Shirley Williams, Kledith Primm Compton, Pansy Primm Howle, Donald Wayne Primm of Alvin Primm, J. T, Joe Primm and Willie Dee Primm.
She is survived by: her daughter Shellie Graham (Barry) of Jonesboro; her brothers, McArthur Primm (Gayle) of Jonesboro and James Bruce (Joan) of Jonesboro; and her granddaughter Felicia Graham Cox (Marty).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Shelby's memory to Nettleton Baptist Church, Walnut Street Baptist Church, or Revival Tabernacle of Bono.
