Shirley Ann Allen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Allen of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Dyess, Arkansas, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvill Simms and Ruby Simms; her husband John Allen; and her siblings, Barbara Leffler, Freda Cooper and Jimmy Simms.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Long (Sherry) of Jonesboro, Stacey Dusmer (Scott) of Covington and Laura Long of Bono; and her sister Glenda Jackson (Bud) of Jonesboro. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests considering donations to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, a place that provided comfort and care in Shirley's final days.
