Susan Kay Barnes Obituary

Susan Kay Barnes, 68, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at NEA Baptist Hospital surrounded by family. She was born July 14, 1956 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Henry Allen and Emma Mable Crawford. She was a 1974 graduate of Nettleton High School. She enjoyed arrowhead hunting, spending time with her dog Maggie May and her family.

She is survived by; her children: Teddy Ray Barnes Jr. of Brookland, Arkansas and Tamera Michelle Barnes of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Trae Barnes, Abbi Barnes, Brianna, Bianca, Braden: two great-grandchildren; mother: Emma Mabel Crawford of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sisters: Donna Carol Thorpe of Cabot, Arkansas, Tamera Leann Crawford Vilonia, Arkansas; brothers: Allen Wayne Crawford (Malissa) Pocahontas, Arkansas and Steven Faris Crawford (Carolyn), Dallas, Texas; along with numerous other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death; by husband, Teddy Ray Barnes; and her father: Henry Crawford.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
