He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Bogard and Sylvia Bogard; his daughter Michelle Brumfield; and his stepmother Mary Bogard. He is survived by : his son Carlton Wayne Bogard; and his siblings, Larry Wayne Bogard, Larry Eugene Bogard, Quincy Bogard, Tommy, Janet Searcy, Marilyn Williams and Sue Buzzard. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
