It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurmon Rolly Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Captoria Rolly; his parent Imogene Rivers; his stepfather Jessie Rivers; and his brother Alvis "Champ" Rivers. He is survived by: his daughters, Shalon Rolly-Tate and Patricia Clay of Jonesboro, AR.; his son-in-law Gary Clay of Jonesboro; his sister Billie Jean Steadman Hill; his brother-in-law Victor Hill of Jonesboro; his cousins, Lee T. Lloyd of Jonesboro, AR, Orlando Arnez Lloyd of Columbia, MD. and Barbara Jean Mayden Anderson of Chicago, IL; his aunt Essie Steadman of Maywood, IL.; his grandchildren, Tiffany Clay of Jonesboro, AR, Skylar Clay of Dallas, TX and Jarrod Clay (Robin) of Omaha, NE.; his great grandchildren, Kyla, Christian and Maverick Clay; and his grandson Garrett Gathright. He is also survived by his family—especially his girls, his grand kids.
