He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ledbetter Brown; his children, Brenda Hester (Sam), Dr. Steve Modelevsky (Teri), Vanessa Russell (Tom), Valerie Sills (Chris) and Vance Brown, Jr.; and his stepsons, Mark Ledbetter (Jeri), Michael Ledbetter (Debbi), Drake Ledbetter and Steve Childress. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
