She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Walker and Carl Walker; her former husband Joseph M. Walter; her children, Jerry Hicks and Patrea; and her grandson Brandon Monroe.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Meddleton; her brother Larry Walker (Brenda) of Imperial; her children, Judy Monroe (Wes), Dianna Deal (Mark) and Joey Walter (Kasey) of Swansea; and her grandchildren, Emma Grace Walter of Norfolk, Virginia, Matt Wilson of Japan, Leah Arnold (Dale) of Imboden, Kelby Mathews (James) of Bono, Latisha Young (Stephen), Natasha Deal and Samantha Monroe. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
