She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Shaw and Veron Shaw; and her husband Robert "Leroy" Sawyer. She is survived by: her children, Delbert Sawyer and Edith Sawyer; her close friend Loretta Gilman; and her pet Bob.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
