William Black Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Black of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmond J. Black and Edith M. Black (Williams); his wife Joyce; and his siblings, Robert, Ernest, Carl and Louise.

He is survived by: his children, Patrick Black (Tara) and Cheryl Danley (Jamie); his grandchildren, Madeline Kaylor (Seth), Jimmy Danley (Kate), Heather Coble, Victoria Childs (Bryson), Emily Luis (Tristen) and Megan Coble; and his great grandchildren, Haven, Lili, Lucy, Grayson, Hudson, Avery, Maya, Hunter and Judah.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in William's memory to Dierkson Hospice (2504 Alexander Drive Jonesboro, AR 72401) as they took such good care of William and his family.
