He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Eades and Mae Eades (Bost); his wife R. Grace Qualls; his brothers, Lonnie, Afton, Quenton, Wilbur and Ferrell; and his grandson Gerry.

He is survived by: his children, Gary (Shirley Eades) of Osceola and Sharon "Sherry" (Dennis Hochstetler) of Batesville; and his siblings, Doyan Eades of Florida, Wayne Eades of Indiana, Reba Thomas, Imogene Stout and Earnestine Eades. He is also survived by three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several great- great-grandchildren.
