It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gary Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willaim Aden Johnson, Jr. and Minnie Shultz Johnson; his sons, Mark Johnson and Brian Johnson; and his brother Larry Wayne Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Sharp; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Johnson, Alma Keedy (Mack) and Larry Sharp; his grandson Tyler Johnson; and his great grandchild Darrell Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Cemetery.
