With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William R. Massengill of Jonesboro, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Williams and Cecil Massengill; and his brother Raymond Massengill. He is survived by: the mother of his children Annette Fisher of Blytheville; his children, Shirley Cannon (Huey Irvin) of Jonesboro, Brandon Massengill of Blytheville and Matthew Massengill of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Kyai Howard (Tevin) of Jonesboro, Shania Cannon of Jonesboro and Grant Cannon (Meagan) of Jonesboro; his great grandchild T. J. Howard of Jonesboro; his sister Debbie Johnson of Luxora; his niece Jennifer Evans of Gosnell; and his close friend Donna Bryson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home (1323 W Keiser Ave, Osceola, AR 72370). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rivercrest Gardens (Osceola, AR 72370).
