It is with sadness that the passing of William Frederick Steinegger in Jonesboro, Arkansas is shared. William, born on September 26, 1933, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Steinegger and Myrtle Steinegger; his sisters, Mary Stallings and Carolyn Payne; and his son Gerhard "Gary" Steinegger.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Porter Steinegger; his children, Michael Steinegger, Jill Clogston (George) and Judy Steinegger; and his grandson Kyle Porter Clogston of Jonesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Kellers Chapel Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
