He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Lee Griffin; and his siblings, Ronnie Sanders, Kenneth Sanders, Rodney Griffin and Debra Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Sanders; his children, Nirada Sanders of Fort Worth, Corey Sanders of Fort Worth and Tamara Renee Lansdell of Jonesboro; his stepsons, Myron Prunty of Jonesboro and Devin Reynolds of Jonesboro; his siblings, Elbert L. Sanders of Fort Worth, Terry W. Sanders of Fort Worth, Gary L. Sanders of Fort Worth, Kevin Griffin (Michelle) of Atlanta, Georgia and Shirley Sanders of Houston; and his close friends, Helen Ruth Gentry Anderson, Andre Polk and Freddie Sanders. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
