With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Sue Nelson of Judsonia, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2026 at the age of 57. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwane Whatley and Bobbie Jo Whatley; and her husband Bobby Dale Nelson. She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica Burnett (Matt) and Jennifer Taylor; her grandchildren, Aspen, Gracie and Bryan; her sisters, Tammy Atkins (Jody), Donna Everett and Debbie Moon; her cousin Bo Whatley; and her nieces and nephews, Kanen Skinner, Nickea Ashby, Joel Neal, Cristie Ashby, Miranda Carter, Lil Leslie Carter and Faith Ford. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
