He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gilbert and Virginia Isham (Stacks). He is survived by: his spouse Connie Gilbert (Phillips); his son Billy Gilbert; his uncles, Roger Stacks, Bobby, Billy and John Gilbert; and his aunt Shirley Kidd. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
