She was predeceased by: her parents, George Barney and Mary Sterling (Melton); and her siblings, Shirley Toney, Mary Temple and Paul Sterling.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Whittington; her sons, Jerrod W. Whittington (Jammie), Joel T. Whittington, Jason K. Whittington (LaCinda) and Jeffrey G. Whittington (Karie); her grandchildren, Madison Whittington, Rylan Whittington, Sterlynn Whittington, Lila Whittington, Sadie Whittington, Leann Biehslich, Makayla Hoover, Carter Whittington and Kaden Whittington; her great grandchild Alice Biehslich; and her siblings, Kelvin Sterling, Melvin Sterling and Patty Rollins.
