He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Hart (Skinner); his children, Billy Hart and Sally Thompson; his parents, Lawrence Hart and Nancy Hart; his siblings, Willie, Betty, Rachel and Junior; and his children, Kathy Hart and Cleon Hart. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (908 Hwy 36 TN, Judsonia, AR).
