“A gentle spirit I was proud to call Grandpa. I love him for always accepting me for who I am, no pretense, just or love. I remember he took my children to his beloved fishing pond and let them fish. I was amazed, because I knew how much he cared for the fish and the animals on his property, but beyond that he loved people even more. The world is just a little sadder with him gone.”

“My grandfather and grandmother were together for about 45 years. Enjoyed every minute with both. Fishing, going to get day old bread. Watching the deers. Before then, picking black berries going to get soft serve ice creme by the quart eatingvthem after dinner. Gathering eggs. Canning from there garden., Then way back my grandmothers home in Bald Knob. Sitting on porch visiting playing with neighbors grand daughter.. always loved being with. So did all three of my children and all my grandchi”
