He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue "Susie" Cupp; his children, Melissa Thurmon (Bobby Joe), Monica Pendleton and Howard Cupp, Jr. (Teri); and his siblings, Sue Haughton and Harold Cupp. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
