She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Odis "Leo" Farrar and Melba Rea Farrar Orr; and her brother Roger E. Farrar. She is survived by: her husband Larry New of Junction City; her children, Tracy Cross (Carlton) of Pine Bluff, AR, Dusty Sweet of Junction City and Gretchen Sewell (Clark) of Pegram, TN; her grandchildren, Brady Cross, Shelby Cross, Eliza Brewster, Drake Foster, Abigail Sweet, Blake Platt, Imani Sewell, Atticus Sewell, Eason Sewell, Oakly Sewell and Amory Sewell; and her brothers, Ricky Farrar (Cindy) of Choudrant, LA and Ronnie Farrar (Cecelia) of El Dorado. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wesson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Shriners Children's Hospitals.
