He is survived by: his close friend Betty Turnbough; his brother Lloyd Root (Joyce); his children, Robbie Root, Stacy Root (April) and Shairlyn Flippo (Eugene); and his grandchildren, Sara Campbell (Devon), Haley Dye (Caleb), Jesse Root (Morgan) and Zachre Root (Olivia). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
