Joyce Nell Tolleson Obituary
We announce the death of Joyce Nell Tolleson of Kirby, Arkansas, born in Amity, Arkansas, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 89. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hubert Duren and Dimple Rose Eller Duren; her siblings, Dorothea Kersey, Linda Brewer and Harlan Duren; her son-in-law Robbie Funderburk; and her granddaughter Jennifer Titus Patrick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Genene (Troy Titus), Vicki (Jack Herring) and Karen Funderburk (Terry) of Kirby; her grandchildren, Andrea, Cody Burdue, Alisha, Calvin Nichols, Melissa, Nick Robertson, Becky, Cody Stearman and Kayla Funderburk; her great grandchildren, Allie, Peyton, Austin, Abigail, Olivia, Sadie, Jackson, Dean, Garrett, Cain and Luke; her brother Melvin; her sister-in-law Lola Duren of Kirby; and her sister Brenda Barnes of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by many loving nieces nephews, extended family members, friends, and her church family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church (2589 AR-27, Amity, AR 71921).
