He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hudspeth and Cindy Hudspeth; his wife Imogene Hudspeth; his son James Hudspeth, Jr.; and his grandson Bryce Hudspeth.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron Hudspeth (Tina) and Steve Hudspeth (Christie). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
