Larry Bonds Obituary

Larry Bonds, age 77, of Lake City, Arkansas passed away on June 27, 2026 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on September 24, 1948 in Trumann, Arkansas to Homer and Jewell (Payne) Bonds. Larry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas. He was a master electrician for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include; loving wife of 60 years: Diane Bonds of the home; two daughters: Tracy White (Gary) of Trumann, Arkansas and Terrie Ponder (John) of Carrollton, Georgia; one sister: Keat Yeager of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Dan Ponder (Jacq), Zack Wright (Nikia), Colby White (Kori), Jaccob Mobbs (Jen), Morgan White, Nicholas Ponder; three great grandchildren: Lillian Ponder-Erickson, Ivy Wright, Kalli White; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Homer and Jewell (Payne) Bonds; and one sister: Peggy Curton.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Bernards Medical Center for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Larry.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the St. Bernards Foundation.
