She was predeceased by : her parents, John Henry Rogers and Annie Rogers; her husband J. L. Love; her daughter Donna Love; and her brothers, Ted Rogers, Bill Rogers, Grant Rogers, Gene Rogers and E. A. "Shorty" Rogers.

She is survived by : her great great grandchild Zoey Sims; her children, Rob Love (Angie) of Lake City, Shirley Atkinson (David) of Bono, Vickie Ruffin of Bay and Peggy Davis (Herb) of Lake City; and her grandchildren, Johnny Moody, David Ruffin, Terri Lytle, Mark Ruffin, Stephanie Davis, Herb Davis Jr., Felicia Davis, Jacob Love and Abbie Buck. She is also survived by Her family extends further with 12 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends, her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests considering donations to the Nea Humane Society at 6111 E Highland Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72401, as a way to honor Opal's love for animals and compassion for their well-being.
