She was predeceased by: her husband Lon C. Simpson; her parents, Carl W. Ward and Cuba Gertrude Lynch (Lynch); and her siblings, Kenneth Ward, Carroll Ward, Von Ward and Norma Lee Jessen.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Lynn (Debbie) and Joey Simpson (Diane); her brother Fred Ward; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Berry, Brian Simpson and Kristin Carpenter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
