He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grady Goodman, Sr. and Ruby Pearl Pickett Goodman; his son Tony Goodman; and his brothers, Grady Goodman, Jr., Walter Goodman and Johnny Goodman.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Goodman; and his siblings, Jerry Goodman, Sr., Donny Goodman, Tommy Goodman, Terry Goodman, Bobby Goodman, Billy Goodman and Anne Goodman Hilton. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
