He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Gift and Nell Buschman Day Gift; and his sister Eddie Ellison. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Bearden Day of Lamar; his sons, Keith Day (Melanie) of Lamar and Brad Day (Georgia) of Lamar; his brothers, Bill, John Gift of Texas, Wayne, Mike of Alma, Joe of Paris and Lindon of Ozark, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Malachi (Sarah Day), Abigail, Mason Day of Lamar, Faith (William), Isaiah, Jacob and Jagger.
