With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George McClaine of Lamar, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As George departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved George. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McClaine and Vera Ann McClaine (Roberson); his wife Evonne Rose McClaine (Tate); and his siblings-in-law, Randy Hendrix and Molly McClaine.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan McClaine of Lamar and Alicia McClaine of Lamar; his adoptive son Ronnie Potter of Lamar; and his siblings, Kenneth McClaine (Brenda) of Lamar, Carl McClaine of Clarksville, Carolyn Hendrix of Arizona and Shirley McClaine of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
