He was predeceased by: his sisters, Debrah Reed and Lonnie Gibson; and his granddaughter Annabell Alexis Sowells. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Chestley Sowells (Bob) and Virginia Sowells; his wife Theresa Gay Sowells; his children, Jason Parks, Waylon Curtis, Joshua Louis Moon, Robert Chestley Sowells, III, Dustin Levi Sowells and Amber Michelle Sowells; and his brothers, Jeffery Sowells and Michael Sowells. He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel (509 W Main St, Clarksville, AR 72830). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Twin Oaks Baptist Church (120 N Skaggs Rd, Clarksville, AR 72830). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Minnow Creek Cemetery.
