He was predeceased by: his parents, Glover Calvin and Stella Mays (Davis); his wife Wanda Jean Mays (Allen); his children, LaWanda Mays and Robert Glen Mays; and his brothers, Hurshel, Lloyd, Edgar, Ray and Norman Mays.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Mays of Lamar; his niece Ashley Hannaford; his sister Ruby Rasa; and his sister-in-law Niva Mays. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Booger Hollow Tabernacle (134 Ledford Dr, Dover, AR 72837). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
