With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Hickey of Lamar, Arkansas, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Murlin Lee and Clara Vivian Thalman (Jackson); her husband Artie Hickey; her children, Audrey Hickey and Kevin Hickey; and her grandson Jody Huffman.

She is survived by : her brothers, Leslie Thalman of California and Willard Thalman of Arkansas; her children, Myrene Parks, Clara Hubbard, Liz Mackie, James Roberts and Donnie Hickey; and her grandchildren, Billy, Shawn, Tina, Heather, Dawn, Kelly, Nadine, Sara, Mandy, Jason, Scotty, Mark, Randa, Monica, Crissy and Kent. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
