He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Rogers and LaFaye Rogers; and his brother Bob Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ruth Rogers; his children, Jimmy Rogers Jr. (Sandra) and Teresa Henry (Jeff); his stepchildren, Kathy Trotter (Perry) and Glenn Barrett; and his grandchildren, Branden Henry (Renee), Steven Rogers (Mandy), Amy Farmer (Adam), Amber Latimer (Chris), Amanda Muchmore (Nathan), Taryn Trotter, Dalton Trotter (Chancie), Sarah Kate Trotter, Joseph Barrett and Jeffery Barrett.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
