He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Ray Gaines Sr. and Marcella Gean Foster. He is survived by: his wife Linda Shelby Gaines; his children, Rachel Ball (Forrest) of Van Buren, Krista Brown (Jason) of Alma, Lindsey Trantham (Rayce) of Alma and Logan Gaines of Lavaca; his brother Marshall Gaines (Janet) of Ozark, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Kelli, Cori Ball, Trayton, Truett Brown and Anna Kate Brown.
