For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chester Akin and Reba Lee Akin of Rector; his son Douglas Dewayne Akin of Paragould; and his great grandchild Justin Akin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Akin; his children, Brandy Akin of Lafe and Chris Akin of Paragould; his sister Sandra Wolf of Memphis, Tennessee.; and his grandchild Chris. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and a whole host of nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters-in-law.
