With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lee Poe of Leachville, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Poe and Blanche Bean Poe; and his siblings, John Poe, Jr., Preston Poe, Frank Poe, Howard Poe, Ellen Hodges, Evie Mae Phillips, Elva Lois Murphy, Alma James, Delia Finley, Stella Dortch and Billie Blanche James.

He is survived by: his wife Juilda Kay Poe; his sons, Tracy Poe (Dana) of Leachville and Shawn Poe of Leachville; his grandchildren, Nicole Matthews (Troy), Kaley Emery (MJ) and Hannah Simmons (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Macks Emery, Mills Emery, Judah Simmons, Josie Poe Simmons and Troy Lio Matthews.

The family requests that lasting memorials be made to Leachville First Baptist Church.
